Ryan Wakefield

Ryan is the founder of Church Marketing University, where he helps churches all over the world get more visitors each week. He and his wife, Amy, and daughter, Katelyn, are a part of Summit Park Church in Kansas City, Missouri. Ryan has many years of experience working in the trenches with the local church and has a passion to see churches grow and reach their unique God-given vision. Before founding Church Marketing University, Ryan served as a pastor and Creative Director at James River Church then spent several years at AG Financial Solutions consulting for churches and non-profits around the country. In 2013, Ryan and his family started a new adventure: they moved to Kansas City to be a part of the team planting Summit Park Church. Along with many other roles, Ryan has served as the Marketing Director for Summit Park Church- where they’ve seen the church grow to around 1,500 people in eight years. Ryan graduated from Evangel University with a major in Biblical Studies and a minor in Marketing. He also received his Master’s Degree at Evangel in Organizational Leadership.
