Official White House Guidelines For Relaxing Social Distancing Churches Should Be Aware Of In April 2020

post-coronavirus churches meeting again

The White House released its Official White House Guidelines for Social Distancing called “Opening Up America Again” – something every church needs to study carefully in preparation for local guidelines that will be issued.

Federal guidelines are not the mandate. In actuality, as the document states: “State and local officials may need to tailor the application of these criteria to local circumstances (e.g., metropolitan areas that have suffered severe COVID outbreaks, rural anod suburban areas where outbreaks have not occurred or have been mild). Additionally, where appropriate, Governors should work on a regional basis to satisfy these criteria and to progress through the phases outlined”

Here is the actual document shared at the White House briefing today for your own review:

One of the most important milestones every church is anticipating is when to gather in person again.
