#3. Scribd

I (Katie) recommend Scribd all the time to friends and family but I don’t think people understand the insane value it is. Scribd lets you listen to audiobooks and read ebooks, magazines, and more for $100/yr. They’re library used to be pretty limited but for the most part I can find anything I want to listen to or read in Scribd. Plus you can’t beat the price point.

#5. PHARISEES: The Party Game

It’s The Pharisees vs. The Disciples in this new take on a classic party game. It’s like Mafia… but with a lot more Bible verses. Have you ever played Werewolves? It’s similar to that game, but instead of being a werewolf you get to be Judas.

#9. Tools of Titans: The Tactics, Routines, and Habits of Billionaires, Icons, and World-Class Performers (Book) by Tim Ferriss

From the author…”“For the last two years, I’ve interviewed more than 200 world-class performers for my podcast, The Tim Ferriss Show. The guests range from super celebs (Jamie Foxx, Arnold Schwarzenegger, etc.) and athletes (icons of powerlifting, gymnastics, surfing, etc.) to legendary Special Operations commanders and black-market biochemists. For most of my guests, it’s the first time they’ve agreed to a two-to-three-hour interview. This unusual depth has helped make The Tim Ferriss Show the first business/interview podcast to pass 100 million downloads.

“This book contains the distilled tools, tactics, and ‘inside baseball’ you won’t find anywhere else. It also includes new tips from past guests, and life lessons from new ‘guests’ you haven’t met.”

#12. Deep Work: Rules for Focused Success in a Distracted World by Cal Newport

In DEEP WORK, author and professor Cal Newport flips the narrative on impact in a connected age. Instead of arguing distraction is bad, he instead celebrates the power of its opposite. Dividing this book into two parts, he first makes the case that in almost any profession, cultivating a deep work ethic will produce massive benefits. He then presents a rigorous training regimen, presented as a series of four “rules,” for transforming your mind and habits to support this skill.
